On November 16, 2024, a fires started from auto parts store spread to and destroyed Sushi Ajito. When a disaster like this strikes, it makes us reflect on how lightly we may have consumed news about others’ hardships. 

Sushi Ajito was the first place Chef Hi could call his own after nearly 20 years of working as a sushi chef. Our family of 5 started the business with a good friend, gradually growing the team to include a few more employees we proudly called Ajito family.

Our regular customers became more than patrons—they felt like friends who supported us, cheered us on, and brought joy by enjoying our food.

It deeply saddens us to share that we are unlikely to resume business anytime soon due to the severe damages. Please keep the Ajito family in your thoughts as we navigate this difficult time.
